The weekend officially starts here. Spend the afternoon exploring the Merchant Building and Pavilion, grab a bite to eat, take a spin on the carnival rides when they open at 5, then settle in for an unforgettable night of live music with Ian Munsick and special guest Corey Kent. Stick around afterward as the Feudin’ Hillbillys keep the fun going in the Pavilion.

You can do a lot at the Morgan County Fair today… but riding in an authentic WWII half-track or open-top tank might top the list. 🇺🇸
The WWII tank line opens at noon, giving fairgoers the chance to get an up-close look at authentic military vehicles, meet the crews, and even take a ride from 1–3 PM, with proceeds benefiting the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
Then spend the evening doing everything you love about fair week—browse the merchant building, enjoy the carnival, grab your favorite fair food, catch The Gibson Girls, and make your way to the grandstand for Salute the Troops Night featuring a live WWII tank and artillery demonstration, followed by fireworks. 🎆
We have a feeling this is going to be one of those fair days people talk about long after it’s over.
