The Hy-Vee PERKS 40 is set for tonight at Jacksonville Speedway, bringing racers, crews, and fans to town for one of the biggest nights of the year.
No ticket? No problem — walk-up pit passes with pit grandstand seating will be available for purchase at the pit shack on race day. Pit gate opens at 3:00 PM for public pit pass purchases, VIP opens at 3:30 PM, and general admission ticket holders may enter at 4:00 PM.

Join us on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Central Park Plaza for the Time Capsule Burial Ceremony. Before the ceremony, guests are invited to view the time capsule contents from 4:30–5:30 PM, featuring letters, memorabilia, and items chosen to represent Jacksonville in 2025. 🕰️
A short ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM, followed by the official burial of the time capsule.
It’s a special chance to reflect on our community today… and imagine who will be opening this capsule years from now. 💙
