Have you checked out the new home of Our Town Books yet? 📚

Our Town Books recently moved a few doors down on the downtown Jacksonville square to 74 E. Central Park Plaza—with a little more room for the books, storytimes and community gatherings that have made this independent bookstore a Jacksonville favorite.

Inside, you’ll find new and used books, fiction and nonfiction, children’s books, local authors, poetry and plenty worth slowing down to browse.

If you haven’t visited the new space yet, consider this your reason to stop in and look around.

Landry has been painting for more than 45 years, using expressive brushwork and a blend of realism and impressionism to capture landscapes, changing seasons and the light found in the natural world. His work has been featured in publications, regional and national exhibitions, and on television and radio.

Stop by for tonight’s opening reception from 6–8 PM, with a gallery talk by Landry at 6:30 PM.

📍 David Strawn Art Gallery, 331 W. College Ave.
