This Saturday, the Jacksonville Area Museum is celebrating five years! 🎉
Stop by Saturday, September 26 from 10 AM–4 PM for free birthday cupcakes and a peek at the progress on the museum’s new gallery construction, which will triple its exhibit space.
Since opening in September 2021, the museum has welcomed more than 12,000 visitors—and this weekend is a chance to celebrate five years of sharing Jacksonville’s stories while getting a look at what’s coming next.
Admission is free, with a suggested $5 donation.

The Vignette Bazaar returns to Soap Co. Coffee House for its 2nd Annual Art Fair on Saturday, October 3 from 5–9 PM!
Spend the evening browsing tents and stands filled with local art, grab a refreshment, and enjoy live entertainment from VaVa Circus—including roaming performers, larger-than-life puppets, poi spinning, and a fire dance show during the final hour. 🔥
You can even add your own touch to the Community Art Wall, a collaborative mixed-media piece sponsored by SAGE Project & The Crisis Center that will be displayed publicly after the event.
