The Jacksonville Area Senior Center will host a 20th Anniversary Celebration Party at the Community Park Building. Refreshments, door prizes from area merchants, and games will be held.

The Jacksonville Area Senior Center was established in 2003 providing services to area seniors. They are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 am to 4 pm. They offer Bingo, Sewing Group, Bridge, Pinochle, Sunshine Singers, Rummikub, Bunko, Phase Ten, and special presentations. Potlucks, Flea Markets, Bake Sales, Cookie and Candy Walks, and Fabric Sales are also held throughout the year. Bread of Love meals are also available.
