Join us August 5th from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM for a taste of cultures hosted by the Jacksonville African American History Museum at 859 Grove Street. $5 for a plate including Italian, Asian, and Mexican food alongside African staples from the colonial diaspora. Fish, ribs, chicken, pigs feet, oxtail, and more! $5 for entry to the museum. Music featuring Denmark Whitaker AKA DJ Avelanche; an entertainer from Portland, Organ who has played alongside ZZ Top, Tesla, Brett Michaels, NSYNC, and many more! Music will be performed from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM at Bogart’s Banquet Hall, $5 cover charge to attend where a 50/50 and a raffle with a chance to win prizes will take place.

Tickets for the raffle can be purchased ahead of time at the Jacksonville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce and the Jacksonville African American Museum.
