Due to the COVID-19 shutdown and distance recommendations, Jacksonville Main Street has regretfully had to make a lot of changes to the Summer 2020 slate of activities. Sadly, the Downtown Concert Series for 2020 will be canceled. All 2020 sponsorships will be carried over to 2021 or, if preferred, possible use for another event to be developed.
The Craft Brew Festival and Juried Artisan Fair originally to be on August 8 are being reviewed for possible rescheduling to September 12.
The Easter Egg Hunt originally scheduled for May 16 has been transformed into the Sharing is Caring event. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors of the Easter Egg Hunt, we still have prized to give away! Simply shop at any local business or do a good deed locally, then post a picture of your purchase and receipt by May 15 on Facebook page with the hashtag #JMSCARES to be entered into the drawing, which will occur on May 16 at 9:30am on Facebook Live.
Visit Jacksonville Main Street’s newly updated website at www.jacksonvillemainstreet.com for more information on these upcoming events.
Along with the Board of Directors, Jacksonville Main Street encourages you to continue to support all downtown businesses by purchasing online merchandise, ordering food, or buying gift certificates. The new listing of open businesses will be posted this week on both the Facebook page and the website.
