How do I get to Jacksonville?
It’s easy to get to Jacksonville by highway or air. Interstate 72 and Routes 67, 267, 104, and 78 all converge in the city. Convenient commercial air service is available through Springfield, Bloomington, or St. Louis. Jacksonville Municipal Airport is available for private aircraft. Amtrak serves the nearby communities of Springfield or Quincy.
From Springfield
Take Interstate 72 West, 25 minutes to Jacksonville.
From St. Louis
Take Route 367 North to Route 267 North, for a 2 hour journey to Jacksonville. If interstate routes are preferred, a simple alternative is 55 North to Springfield, then 72 West to Jacksonville.
