American Legion Flag Raising and BBQ
Join the American Legion Post 279 this 4th of July to celebrate 250 years of Independence with a Flag Raising and BBQ!Doors open at 11:00 AM with the Flag raising ceremony at the flagpole at Noon.Free hamburgers, porky burgers, brats and hot dogs will be available while they last following the ceremony.
Fourth of July Fireworks in Jacksonville
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets out to Nichols Park to celebrate America's 250th birthday with fireworks! The fireworks show will begin at dusk but arrive early to get your spot as the road will be closed during the show for everyone's safety. This event is sponsored by The City of Jacksonville.
