The Out of the Darkness Walks take place during the month of September, which is also National Suicide Prevention Month. The local event will feature speaker, Naomi Trotter, from the Crisis Center Foundation and singer/musician, Isaiah Case, from The Chapel. There will be a time of remembrance, and a candle lit walk as part of the program.
The event is free, and all are invited to attend. Please bring your own chair. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at Central Christian Church, 359 W College Ave, in Jacksonville.
