Summerfest 2025 will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, at Community Park (corner of Main and Morton) in Jacksonville.
The event will feature fun kids’ activities, giveaways and a chance to celebrate community health and wellness during Community Health Improvement Week. Prairieland United Way will sponsor a food distribution.

Central Illinois Food Bank mobile kitchen cart will be available with nutritionist Karen Sibert. Families can sign up for the Salvation Army Back to School Clothing Program (limited to the first 100 kids who live in Morgan County). Free meals will also be available from the Salvation Army Food Canteen in collaboration with Spirit of Faith Soup Kitchen. A bicycle rodeo for the kids will include a skills course and custom license plate station. The Be Aware Wellness Fair will also be taking place.
