Squeal at the Wheel

Although the Big Eli Ferris wheel in Community Park has ended its season of summer rides, it will go around and around again Halloween night during the annual Squeal at the Wheel.
Rotary Club of Jacksonville will offer free rides from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 31. Candy also will be handed out.
“This slightly spooky, family-friendly event is sponsored and staffed by volunteers from the Rotary Club of Jacksonville,” Rotarian Stefanie Ballinger said. “Rotarians in costume will be handing out candy and providing free rides.”
Children must be at least 3 feet tall to ride the Ferris wheel.
