Please join the Jacksonville Public Library on November 16^th at 4pm in welcoming the latest performers to the Music Under the Dome series at the library: Tom Irwin and Amy Battles.

When Tom Irwin and Amy Battles joined together as music and life partners in 2022, the combination of Tom’s acoustic guitar and heartfelt voice with Amy’s sweet harmonies and pristine vocals upped the game of both lifelong performing songwriters. Based in a wide ranging, folk-country, Americana vein that allows for a variety of topics and styles, the duo moves from gentle ballads to topical commentaries, true love songs to humorous tunes, all wrapped up with sparkling harmonies to give folks an honest, straight to the heart of it, feel good time. Expect plenty of original songs and a few popular tunes, plus some country classics and few numbers you’ve likely never heard before. The duo’s most recent release, 2025’s One for the Kiddos, features a selection of original children’s songs that folks of all ages will enjoy. Plans for 2026 include a full album, more festival shows and continued writing, playing, singing and performing from central Illinois and beyond.
