Join Illinois College students, alumni and friends at 7 p.m. on February 19 in Sibert Theatre for an exclusive screening of Meme, a new documentary from Steven Snyder—Illinois College alum, actor, writer and producer.
This 45-minute documentary explores the wild and unexpected history of memes and viral videos, unpacking how they spread, why we can’t stop sharing them, and how social media has reshaped our ideas of identity, humor and “15 minutes of fame.”
There will be a 15-minute Q&A session with Steven following the showing.
