JACKSONVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY HOSTS DARK OF THE MOON: AN EVENING OF HALLOWEEN POETRY

The Jacksonville Public Library will be hosting a program performed by local poets Robert Seufert and Sherri Mitchell on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023 at 7pm. The program is entitled Dark of the Moon: An Evening of Halloween Poetry.
Sherri Mitchell is well known to Jacksonville audiences for her performances as Emily Dickenson, Jenny Lind, Vivien Leigh, Cleopatra, Lady Macbeth, Amanda Winfield from The Glass Menagerie, and the Mother Superior from The Sound of Music.
Robert Seufert waws a professor of English literature for over thirty years at MacMurray College, had the leading role in Jacksonville’s production of Dracula, and is the author of seven books of poetry and prose, most recently Seven Ravens and Thirty-Eight Poems.
Sherri and Robert have performed together in over a dozen theatrical productions and consider each other “partners in art”.
