Free Hearing and Retinal Screenings

The Lions of Illinois Foundation will have a mobile screening unit event at the Be Aware Wellness Fair in conjunction with Summerfest in community park!
The Lions mobile hearing and retinal screening unit will be coming to Jacksonville. This mobile unit will be conducting FREE Hearing and Retinal Screenings on: June 11th at the Be Aware Wellness Fair at Jacksonville Community Park from 4pm to 6pm. The mobile screening unit is sponsored by the Jacksonville Lions Club and the Lions of Illinois Foundation.
Hearing loss is one of the most common chronic disabilities in the United States. About 15.5% (44.1 million) of American adults aged 20 and older have some level of hearing loss.
The quality of life for people with retinal disorders, such as macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy is dramatically impacted. Since early detection of such disorders is critical, people 55 or older are encouraged to take advantage of this FREE retinal screening.
